There is a significant winter storm watch in effect for our area this weekend. With the safety of our congregation and visitors in mind, we have decided to cancel the morning worship service and all other activities at BCCUCC scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2026. The Winter Congregational Meeting will be postponed and will be held immediately following morning worship in the sanctuary on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
We look forward to seeing you next Sunday, February 1st at 10 am for our morning worship service, and we recommend all members to stick around for our winter congregational meeting to make quorum to vote on the proposed 2026 budget as well as the other articles outlined below:

The Winter Congregational Meeting of the Barrington Congregational Church, UCC, Barrington RI, is hereby called to take place on SUNDAY, JANUARY 25, 2026 SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2026 * in the sanctuary immediately following worship. The business to be transacted is as follows:
ARTICLE I: To call the meeting to order
ARTICLE II: To approve the minutes of the Congregational Meeting held October 19, 2025
ARTICLE III: To review and vote on the 2026 church budget
ARTICLE IV: To provide the congregation with appointments of members for the Church Profile Team and to provide an overview of the search process for the next settled Senior Minister
ARTICLE VI: To consider any other business that may properly come before the meeting
ARTICLE VII: To adjourn the meeting
*The Congregational Meeting has been postponed to February 1, 2026 due to inclement weather, in accordance with the Congregation Policy (section V) stating that, “any postponed meeting is held on the next practicable Sunday”.
