Dorcas International is asking us to help them in welcoming refugees from Afghanistan who have fled the upheaval and suffering there, and are seeking to resettle and build a life in Rhode Island. Most who fled Afghanistan arrive with almost nothing but the clothes on their back. They need help with everything from warm clothes and household goods to furniture and cleaning supplies, and everything in between.
