We invite you to create a Welcome Home Basket for families moving into permanent housing. With the help of Crossroads RI, local families are given a laundry basket filled with essentials to get them settled. This list contains suggestions though you may have your own ideas!
Welcome Home Baskets: (printable copy)
- Laundry basket
- Cleaning supplies (disinfectants, broom, etc.)
- Laundry supplies (detergent, fabric softener, etc.)
- Toilet paper
- Plungers
- Shower curtains
- Liquid hand soap
- Toiletries (full-size and travel-size shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, deodorant, razors, personal care items)
- Bed linens, pillows, blankets, sheets (twin and full)
- Dishes and utensils
- Laundry baskets
- Trash bags
- Gift cards: Grocery stores, general merchandise stores, etc.
- Deodorant
- Paper towels
- Multipurpose cleaner
- Pots and pans
